Efficient utilization of heat at power plants which are using fossil, biomass or biogas as the fuel is very important, while waste heat with 45 to 550°C temperature is cooled down via air or water cooling systems to enable the electricity generation process.
Modular power generation units can be situated before the main cooling system in order to use the waste heat for additional electricity generation. Recovered energy from the waste heat can be used within the facility for internal consumption or sold to local grid. As these units are modular with compact design, the quantity can be increased over time to increase generation volume or easily moved for other applications.
